Silver Lake Regional High School

Choral Art Society of the South Shore congratulates Laurel

for her wonderful high school achievements and wishes her our very best

as she begins her studies in September.

Laurel plans to major in commercial music with a concentration in

vocal performance and anticipates attending the

Belmont University School of Music in Tennessee.

Singing and performing have always been Laurel’s passions.

She has been in drama club at Silver Lake Regional Middle/High School from 7th to 12th grade and sung in the school select choir. She also worked tirelessly outside the school, attending intensive summer classes and taking private lessons of vocal, music theory, acoustic guitar, and piano.

She is currently a member of the National Honor Society Tri - M Music Honor Society, All State and All Nationals Honors Choir, Bella Voce (high school acapella auditioned choir), All Silver Lake Modern Band, and has sung the national anthem at TD Garden and numerous local events.

Not only an excellent performer, Laurel is also a mentor and a leader to her fellow students. During her high school years, she volunteered in middle school and generously shared her knowledge and talent, while also performing as lead soprano in the school choir.

With these remarkable achievements, Laurel is headed to Belmont University School of Music in Nashville this fall to broaden her musicality and make her dreams come true. Her major will be commercial music focused on vocal performance.

The South Shore Choral Arts Society congratulates Laurel and her family and is honored to support her in all of her endeavors.
